How can you edit YouTube Videos with Windows Movie Maker, without any quality loss, and fast? This is the best way you can do that. Trust me, works flawless, and is totally free. You don’t need those converters or encoders like Riva or Winff or whatever. Those are waste of time, and you loose 40% of Video quality with those. This way, there is no quality loss at all. This was written by me, ebay user SVETILS. I posted this file on my website, so there is no spam in it.

 

1.      First download your YouTube video you want to edit. Use KeepVid.com or YouTubeX.com. Those videos are in FLV (Flash Video) format ;

2.      Once you downloaded your flv (flash) video from YouTube, you need this codec file (6mb) to convert it from FLV to AVI. Download it. CLICK. There is no spyware or any crap in it.

3.      Install it on your computer. It will come with all the codecs necessary, and also a WMP (Windows Media Player) classic.

4.      Once you installed KLite Codec, Open your FLV file you downloaded from YouTube, with Media Player Classic.

5.      Once you open it, go to File, and click on Save As. Just save the file like this

Examplename.avi ;

6.      Open Windows Movie Maker. Go to Run, type in moviemk.exe;

7.      Once its opened, go to Tools, scroll down to Options, go to Compatibility Tab, and make sure all boxes are checked. Now restart the Windows Movie Maker, and import the examplename.avi file to movie maker. Edit it .. That’s it. Problem solved. Now you can edit YouTube videos without any quality loss. YEAAAAA.

Here is what you do.

 

  1. First Download Program, called FREE MUSIC ZILLA.
  2. Once Downloaded, Run the Setup program.

When, installed, run it. Then, all you have to do is refresh the myspace page of the artist you want to download. It will start showing the files available in the window. Then click on DOWNLOAD. Files will be downloaded to: C:\Downloads.

ETRADE EXPERIENCE

 

Did you ever wander about starting an ETRADE account. Well, just last week September 15, 2008, I opened an ETRADE account. I was reading some articles on CNN and clicked on Etrade link.

 I figured I would buy some of the APPLE and GOOGLE stock.

 

Well, it turns out ETRADE takes 11 days, from the date you open an account to let you use your money you deposit instantly from a checking account. I didn’t know that, and from advertising it didn’t look that way. So it takes 11 days for the money to clear. Then you can start buying stock. From reading their start page, it looked like it would take 4 business days or 3. Not very clear.

 

Ok, so I almost close the account, from frustration. Anyway, I decide to give them a shot. I buy in APPLE stock when it hit $104.00 ; I buy a few of these shares. The cost of the transaction is $9.99 as expected. The next day I sold the shares at $112, making a profit of $8.00; Again, etrade charges $9.99 to sell the stock. So to break even, you have to make at least $20.00 . I sell, because I think this stock will go down again this week. September 30 2008 ; I saw a good Cypress Semiconductor Stock, selling at $3.85 a share. I know this stock will go way up. Now, the money I got from selling the APPLE stock, can’t be used right away. It takes 3 days for them to settle the money and actually let you trade with it again. That sucks!!! I didn’t know this either. So, I am just writing this to let you people know about this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Best DVD decoder is MaxDVD software. For example, get a dvd, encode it to avi from VOB. Copy your DVDs to your HardDrive.

Convert any DVD VOB format to AVI  for easy editing in Windows Movie Maker. From here you can post it to YouTube.    It functions without any passwords but if you need to convert longer than 10min video, I suggest you buy their license. Otherwise, just click continue when password is requested. There are NO onscreen logos or anything, clean video comes out just like on dvd. Its excellent for shorter videos, since you don’t have to click CONTINUE every 5-10min; Its fine for longer videos, but you have to check up on it every 10 or so minutes and click Continue Converting.

Now, to save space I use the option under Divxblablablabla (2logical cpu), and for audio the first option, and then depending on quality of audio you want.

 

 

 

How to move subtitles to the bottom of the Screen on Windows Movie Maker? I mean they are usually like in the middle of the screen. This little code moves them all the way down.

 

Here is what you do.

1.      Go to the following folder C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\shared

2.      Once you are in the SHARED folder, create the following new folder: AddOnTFX

 

3.      Now Download THIS XML FILE , and save to that new folder you just made.

4.      Then just go like you always go to Movie Maker, and Add titles, but this one should be an option SUBTITLE LOWER.
